The exhibition features a selection of works submitted to the annual photo competition “My Bird” organized by the Latvian National Museum of Natural History. It is one of the oldest and most beloved public activities, and turns 25 next year. More than 100 participants took part in the competition this year, with a largest number of contestants in the age group “50+”.
The exhibition “My Bird 2026” is open from April 11 to July 26. More than 100 photos of wild birds found in Latvia were selected for the exhibit. Taxidermy specimens of various landfowls from the Museum’s Zoological collection are showcased alongside the photographs.
Until May 31, every visitor can vote for what they consider the most beautiful photograph in the exhibition.
